Wedding Morning Regrets From Real Brides
Ever wondered what are the wedding morning regrets from real brides? We’ve listed some of the morning regrets that real brides experienced after their big day. We hope you read them and don’t make the same mistakes that they did. A recent survey asked real life brides if there was anything they would change about the morning of their wedding and this is what they said. “Wedding Morning I Wish List”
- I wish I had breakfast – This is a big mistake that most brides and goons make on the morning of their wedding. We can see how it happens, your so busy running around finalising last minute touches, getting your hair and makeup done and making sure everyone is where they should be. Add all this to the nerves and excitement that you’re feeling and food is the last thing on your mind. None wants to be in the middle of their vows and hear their grumbling tummy, by that stage it’s too late. So ensure that you eat a good breakfast so you have the energy for the big day ahead.

2. I wish I didn’t stress about the rain – This is something that stress or praying to the gods above can help. If it rains it rains and there is nothing you can do bout it but that doesn’t stop Irish brides stressing about rain on their wedding day. Yes waking up on the morning of your wedding to see a grey sky and rain outside is not a nice feeling but try think of the bigger picture and don’t let a little rain take away from the fact that you’re about to marry the love of your life in front of all your friends and family.
3. I wish I didn’t worry about him (The Groom) – Most brides stated that they stressed about the groom and worried about everything. Are they dressed, are they drinking already? These are just some questions that plague a bride’s mind on the morning of the wedding. Some even go as far as sending over a spy in the shape of a bridesmaid to ensure everything is running smoothly in the boys corner. Try focus on you and trust that your groom will know what to do to make you happy on the wedding day.
4. I wish I went to bed early the night before the wedding – Most brides will be fussing about some minor detail even up until the night of the wedding and they may find themselves finalising tasks even into the early hours of the morning. Or it might be the case where you all go out to celebrate the night before the wedding, many friends and family are in town and it’s great to catch up with them so a few drinks is in order. One drink can lead to 8 before you know it and you blink and it’s 4am and your singing and dancing. It’s so easy to get carried away but no one wants to be dying the morning of their wedding from a hangover! You only get married once so make sure your at your best so you can enjoy the full day.
5. I wish I had chilled out – Some brides get so obsessed with timelines and a schedule they forget to chill out and just enjoy the day and go with the flow. You’ve planned this day for a long time and what’s not done on the day of the wedding is not worth worrying about. Try enjoy the moment with your family and friends or at least take 10 minutes out and just take it all in with a bottle of bubbly! Bubbly makes it easier we promise.
That’s our list of wedding morning regrets from real brides, we hope that you read them and try not make the same mistakes that these bride and grooms made. They’ve been through the whole day so we should try learn from their experiences so we can better our own big day! We hope your wedding day goes off without one regret! Enjoy every moment of your wedding morning.
