A boards user expressed her distress about being included in her best friend’s wedding. Everyone knows a friends wedding is a time of joy and great craic as it’s a time that all your nearest and dearest gets together to celebrate the joining of two families.
This isn’t the case for this poor bridesmaid when the bride to be demanded that all her bridesmaids lose weight in the months leading up to the big day. The reasoning for this was so that they would all look good for the wedding day pictures.
This particular bridesmaid refused to exercise and continued to eat whatever she wanted on the run up to the wedding day. These actions left the bride wanting to remove her best friend from the bridal party. What do you think about the bride doing this? Is this something that you think is ok to do to your friends.
A wedding day is a special day and you want your family close by your side to celebrate the biggest day of your life so to not include best friends and children in your wedding because they’re not the ideal Instagram ready is just crazy. If this was my best friend I would personally take offense to her even suggesting that I need to hit the gym and change my lifestyle because I don’t fit into her ideal world of skinny.
This bride sounds extremely superficial and is willing to cut ties with life long friends to get the perfect picture on her wedding day. If I was that bridesmaid I would tell her just where she can stick her wedding as this is a BIG Bridal Party No NO!
