Well this is a Bridezilla moment if I ever heard it.

So not many people are getting married in Ireland now due to the current Coronavirus outbreak. In fact just 82 couples tied the knot here in Ireland during the last few months, compared to nearly 4,000 couples the same period last year. I’m actually surprised that the number was even that high to be honest. 

Looking back at those lucky ducks who tied the knot before all this madness and we came across a right bridezilla. This particular bride was getting a lot of hate online for her outrageous behaviour towards her bridesmaids. Can you believe she banned her bridesmaids from getting their hair and makeup done on her wedding day. 

The rationale behind this was the fact that she felt they would outshine her on the big day.  The angry bridesmaid took to social media to vent her frustration at the bride and posted the messages she received from her. 

The bride stated in a text message to the bridesmaid that she didn’t want to sound weird but would appreciate it if they wouldn’t get hair or makeup done for her wedding. This took the bridesmaids by surprise and she replied I don’t wear much makeup but I presumed we were all getting our hair done. The bride’s reply was that she didn’t want them to outshine her. The bride wants them to be in formal wear with no hair and make up done, this is just insane to me and I cannot believe anyone would even ask their mates to do this. 

I’m not sure what the outcome was but I think if it was me I’d tell the bride where to stick her request, I’d never agree to be a part of the wedding party and have no makeup or hair done. NO WAY.  I hope she did tell her where to go.
