A way to tackle this hurdle is to take a look at her rings she already has, if you see one lying around grab it and use this as an indication. This is a better option than waiting for her to sleep and measuring her finger with a measuring tape. She might think this is creepy if she wakes up. An alternative is to use a mock ring, that way you have a token in the moment but you can both go ring shopping for the perfect style and size ring.
2. Asking her father for her hand in marriage! This may sound like an old fashioned tradition but something that doesn’t take much to do and we think is a very nice tradition to carry on. The idea of asking a father for his daughter’s hand in marriage can be very important to people and this is something that you should consider doing before you pop the question.
3. Nerves much? You might think you wont be nervous, but trust us you will. You may feel super confident but once you drop down on one knee it’s common for some people to feel like an out of body experience and you may find yourself stuck for words or possibly finding it hard to get the words out.
